OAKMONT GREEN WEDNESDAY NIGHT LEAGUE - 2024

REGISTRATION:

 

Registration for the 2024 season closes on April 7, 2024

 

Teams consist of two players and is in match play format.  Each team is responsible for finding their own partner.

LEAGUE INFORMATION:

 

Start Date:  April 10th

End Date: August 28th

 

This league is a 9 hole league and plays 20 rounds of golf on Wednesday nights.

 

WE ARE TAKING A BREAK FOR THE JUNETEENTH HOLIDAY ON JUNE 19th SO WE WILL NOT BE PLAYING THAT WEEK. 

 

Time: 

Shotgun start @ 5:00 PM the first two Wednesdays; 5:30 PM thereafter (unless specified via email by the league manager or clubhouse prior to the round).

The “A” group will tee off first, then the “B” group.  

No horn to start league play.  Tee off at the designated time.

 

PRIZES:

 

1) Each night a sleeve of balls will be awarded to the closest to the pin winners on the par 3’s.

 

2) At the end of the season, the top 9 overall teams will play in the playoffs, to determine first through fourth places.  The top team from each division will have a bye for the first round of the playoffs.   The second place place team will play the team in ninth place, the third place team plays the eighth place team, fourth place team will play the seventh place team, and fifth place team plays the sixth place team.  The winners will be re-seeded for the following weeks playoffs.  If any teams finish the regular season tied for fourth place, Oakmont will determine the tie breaker.  Playoffs are determined by the overall team standings at the end of 20 weeks.  Payouts will occur after the first half/second half/overall as follows:

    2nd Place   (2) - $25 Gift Certificate

 

Overall Top Four Teams

     1st Place   (2) - $150 Gift Certificate

     2nd Place  (2) - $75 Gift Certificate

     3rd Place   (2) - $50 Gift Certificate

     4th Place   (2) - $25 Gift Certificate

 

End of season individual:

     1st place - $50 Gift Certificate

     2nd Place- $30 Gift Certificate

     3rd Place- $20 Gift Certificate

We will be using Golf Genius software once again to score league.  Players should get the golfgenius app from Apple or android stores for free asap.
